Meet Laura Halley
Founder & Chief Revivalist
When Laura started Revive Athletics she had two goals in mind: to create a space where people can shop high quality secondhand activewear and to make it more affordable for more people to have access to.
“Secondhand shopping is the most sustainable way to shop and activewear is expensive! We should all be able to shop sustainably and afford the clothes that make us feel good when we move!” — Laura
In 2019, Laura read the book Fashionopolis — a book that opened her eyes to the environmental impact of the fashion industry. Inspired to make a change, she committed to shopping secondhand only.
What began as a simple Instagram shop grew into a brick-and-mortar store, which officially opened in Portland, Oregon in June 2021. As demand grew, so did Revive — and we’re now proud to welcome shoppers to our expanded location on Hawthorne Blvd.
At Revive, our mission is simple:
Make shopping secondhand for activewear fun, stylish, and accessible — without sacrificing the premium brands you love.
But she quickly discovered how hard it was to find high-quality activewear from brands she loved, like Lululemon, Athleta, and Nike — especially in one place, and in a way that felt curated and easy to shop.
That gap sparked an idea — and Revive Athletics was born.
